BUZZ: Tiger Shroff In Judwaa 2, Ahmed Khan To Direct
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Just like the original, Part 2 will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala
Salman Khan's Judwaa is finally getting a sequel.
The 1997 film, which was directed by David Dhawan, went on to become a blockbuster, giving a major push to Salman Khan's career.
19 years later, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is ready to revive the project--- but this time with a fresh cast and a new director.
While initially, it was planned that Sajid Khan would direct the film, now we've learnt that it isn't Sajid (who Nadiadwala parted ways with) but choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan who will call the shots.
Ahmed is busy working on the film's script.
If all goes well, as the buzz is, Jackie Shroff's son will step into Salman's shoes.
A source close to the development says, "Ahmed has spoken to Tiger about it, who has given his nod. The film should tentatively roll by summer next year, but a lot will also depend on how the script shapes up. It's a film very close to Nadiadwala's heart and he wants to ensure that the sequel is bigger and better."
Ahmed has previously directed the Shahid Kapoor-starrer Paathshaala and more recently, he helmed the Sunny Leone film Ek Paheli Leela.
